INNO Week 2023

We are in Tashkent for the INNO Week 2023 meetings, alongside our Director of Technology Transfer, Ugur Gocen. Hosted by the Director of Uzbekistan INNO Technoparks, Mr. Shahakhbjon Sharifov, we had a dinner meeting with Mr. Ulvi Mehdiyev, President of Azerbaijan Social Innovation State Agency, INNO Land Director Mr. Vusal Rustamov, and the Azerbaijani delegation. We held some horizon meetings discussing the Technopark projects we support at every stage in Turkey and Uzbekistan, and our potential collaborations.

While the Union of Turkic Republics resembles the EU model, I want to underline one difference: among the Turkic Republics, there is additional ‘love’ in our work, a ‘common language’, and a ‘shared culture and history’.

We will continue to work hard on potential collaborations for ‘concrete’ work that competes with the world.
